2019: Corinthians opens the global story
Corinthians won the Free Fire World Series in 2019 in Rio de Janeiro. The result established an early global champion in the Free Fire competitive scene and became a reference point for future editions.
Do not treat every invitational or regional event from 2019 as a World Series title. The FFWS name belongs to a particular global competition, while national leagues and qualifiers have their own winners.
2021–2022: Phoenix Force, Attack All Around and EVOS Phoenix
Phoenix Force won FFWS Singapore in 2021. In 2022 the circuit held two distinct global events: Attack All Around won the Sentosa final, while EVOS Phoenix won the Bangkok edition later that year. The two winners must not be collapsed into a single “FFWS 2022” result without the event location/date.
These tournaments also illustrate why an event series can change its format or calendar over time. Match count, points and eligibility should be taken from the official rules and final recap for that year.
2023–2025: Magic Squad, Fluxo and Buriram United Esports
Magic Squad won the 2023 FFWS in Bangkok. Fluxo took the 2024 Global Finals in Rio de Janeiro. In 2025, Buriram United Esports from Thailand won the FFWS Global Finals in Jakarta, with Wassana receiving the Grand Finals MVP and Predator awards according to Garena’s official recap.
Garena’s 19 November 2025 article reports that Buriram United Esports won the final at Indonesia Arena, Jakarta on 15 November. That direct tournament recap is the best source for the 2025 result and player award details.
Battle Royale and Clash Squad are different formats
The Global Finals Battle Royale competition is not the same tournament mode as Clash Squad. The 2025 series included separate Clash Squad competition details, so its champion should not be substituted for the main Battle Royale world champion.
This page is specifically about FFWS Battle Royale Global Finals. It is not an exhaustive list of every Free Fire national league, regional qualifier, EWC event or Clash Squad event.
How to follow the next season
The event calendar and format may change. Before sharing a prediction or winner list, verify the current season’s dates, rules, teams and result from Garena’s official esports/news channels. An event listed as upcoming is not a completed championship and should not appear in a winners table as if the result were final.
For other Battle Royale circuits, read the separate PUBG Global Championship history and BGMI tournament winners pages.
