2021: Acend and the first Champions title

Acend won the inaugural VALORANT Champions event in Berlin in 2021. This was the first end-of-season world championship in the VCT Champions series and set the template for teams advancing through regional competition to the global event.

Masters tournaments had their own winners, so Acend’s Champions title should be understood as the first winner of the world championship event, not the winner of every international event that year.

2022–2024: LOUD, Evil Geniuses and EDward Gaming

LOUD won Champions Istanbul in 2022. Evil Geniuses won Champions Los Angeles in 2023, then China’s EDward Gaming took Champions Seoul in 2024. These outcomes show how the title has moved across regions and how the international field evolves between seasons.

Champions brackets are typically built around the season’s regional qualifiers and points, and formats can change. A year-by-year winner page is a record of completed events, while each event’s official page remains the source for bracket details, score lines and MVP awards.

2025–2026: NRG and LOUD

NRG won Champions Paris in 2025. LOUD claimed the 2026 Champions Shanghai title, defeating Team Vitality in the grand final according to the published results. LOUD became the first organisation in this timeline to win Champions twice.

As of the update date (23 October 2026), the 2026 Champions event is complete. This page will change if Riot corrects an official result, but it does not predict future season winners.

Champions, Masters and regional leagues

VCT Champions is distinct from the two Masters international events that have appeared in many seasons. Masters winners include organisations such as Sentinels, Fnatic, Gen.G, T1, Paper Rex, Nongshim RedForce and Leviatán across different years and events. They deserve their own table rather than being mixed into the Champions list.

Regional leagues—Americas, EMEA, Pacific and China—also have separate winners, qualification rules and playoff brackets. When comparing a team’s trophy record, name the event tier and season for each title.
